Seeing the value in 099 bit 8 fluctuate between 1 and 0 is showing the lambda sensor reading oscillating between rich and lean which is correct. 00537 lower limit certainly points towards the pressure sensor and 00525 implausible suggests the ECU does not like the aftermarket sensor you fitted.

Is there some other way the pressure regulator can fail that wouldn't show while testing it like I did?

Maybe I should try another Lamdba sensor..? Would a Bosch be good to use?

I will only use the OE brand of sensor used on the engine, for the AKL that would be Bosch which is the usual make although there are a few models that use NTK (i.e. NGK). Even then, a couple of times I have had problems with both brands when buying them aftermarket although it is rare. When the engine is running in Basic Settings 099, the lambda control is turned off so you can see where the mixture sits according to the mapping and other sensor inputs and view the Air to Fuel Ratio using a four gas analyser and ideally this needs to sit at around 1.

Allright, interesting. I didn't know that the lambda control is turned off when running in Basic Settings 099.
I will be able to put on a Bosch lambda sensor and try it out, I guess it's worth to see how it runs considering it doesn't seem to like my aftermarket sensor.
Though it will take a week or two until I can install the Bosch sensor.

What is a four gas analyser?

A four gas analyser gives the values for Oxygen, Carbon Monoxide, Carbon Dioxide and Hydro carbon, some earlier cat cars had pre cat sample points so you could check the gases before conversion but the usual check is to sample at the tail pipe to ensure the Lambda (the ideal balance of air and fuel, 14.7:1 or Stoichiometric) is as close to 1 as possible.
