    Hi,
    I remember seeing a really informative how to on fitting the electric tailgate for the B6/B7 estate but after searching for days I am unable to find it . I have all the components needed to do the install the only thing I’m struggling with is where to place the wires within the CCM? Does anybody either know where to put the wires or has a diagram of the CCM?
    Thanks in advance

    The wiring diagram handily shows the motor with 4 white wires on a 4-pin connector! They go to a 10 pin loom / harness connector on the rear right, then on to the CCU 18-pin "a" connector (which you should be able to identify by having orange plus green or brown CAN wires at pins 9 & 10) in coloured wires, like this:

    Motor pin 1 -> harness 9 -> yellow / blue -> CCM pin 8
    Motor pin 2 -> harness 8 -> brown / black -> CCM pin 15
    Motor pin 3 -> harness 1 -> brown -> Ground
    Motor pin 4 -> harness 7 -> red / purple -> CCM pin 4
    ======

    Much appreciated for the reply, I have bought a wiring loom from eBay picture attached, it hasn’t been delivered yet but I’m assuming the wires that go in to the CCM for the canbus wiring will not have a connection block on and will need to be pushed into existing blocks in the CCM? I’m trying to gather as much information as possible so that when I come to it I can blast it out in a day if it is a case of the wires needing to be pushed into existing blocks do you know where they need to go?

    Thanks
