You might want try these people, its a bit hit and miss but it's the best I could find and coming from a Yorkshire man it is FREE

Thanks - tried the link but does not seem to cover 2010 service manuals for A3 - closest I can see is emanuals - But they charging £20

The VCDS instruction to refer to the factory service manual is talking ********, at least in Europe; the manual is only available digitally from https://erwin.audi.com/erwin/showHome.do and YES you have to swat some moths to get access but even then there is bugger all help because ALL the important data is locked up inside the factory diagnostic system ODIS which has mind bending levels of security protection and to get access to this you need to jump through rings of fire. Further, to get access to the software and security levels you have to remove your own genitalia and place it in storage with VAG Germany...AND when you want to use the service the cost is 10 Euro per hour...
