Air suspension...

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone can help me out with a couple of problems I'm having with my A6 Allroad....

About a year ago I had the air suspension system give up on me so had the air compressor replaced, everything fine since. Just recently I had had the air suspension caution light come on again so had it checked at my local garage who changed the suspension valve block but the problem has reoccurred. Garage now seems to think that its a communications issue but I'm not so sure.

Also have an intermittent problem with the parking brake where the warning comes on and the parking brake light flashes but does work.

Had a diagnostics check done and I have the following showing:

One of my EPBs had an issue, turned out it had a massive slice through the cable. Worked in the summer, but come cold and wet, it highlighted it and I had to change it. So check the cabling to the rear calipers.

suspension wise, was the control relay changed at the same time? These can be a weak point and at only £5, worth chang8ng.

Thanks A8, I'll have a good look at the cabling for the EPB. The problem was certainly more common during the winter. It hasn't happend for a while now so sounds lile a good steer..

The control relay wasnt changed, but again sounds like a good place to go next.
