Error on roof shade. 1 fault found, attached.

Hi!

Five days after the warranty expired the steering gear stopped working on the first day of our holliday (costing 4500 Euro...) Two days after picking the car up from three week repair the sun roof shade stopped working so I am very happy with my Audi now... It has been working fine all the time, but suddenly when I tried to open the roof shade after closing it, it`s dead. When trying to open the roof shade nothing happens. When trying to close it (although it is already closed) the motor makes a sound so it seems like it has power. I checked for errors now and got the fault below. Can anyone help me to solve this problem?

Has anybody got a clue what to do..? Is it any way to manually open the shade so I can just forget about the problem for a while? The sun roof works fine, but the the sun roof shade stays closed...

Hi Larserso,

Not sure if this applies to the 4M but on my old 4L model my sunroof blind got all tangled up once and forgot where it was.
To reprogram it you had to operate close button continuously , after about 10-15 seconds it started moving forward and back until it set the limits up again.
There was also a allen key slot on the motor to operate manually but being at the rear it was a bit of a pain to get to.

As I say not sure if it will work on your car but worth a try.
