I've had no trouble at all buying from French and German Amazon in the past now they wont ship to a UK address. They claim they wont ship it because it's a console.

I'm after two (both for gifts

) and have the cash ready. I'll pay the cost of the Wii and onward shipping.

Good luck! I went hunting for one with a mate about a month ago. We tried all over Merseyside to no avail. The bloke in Toys'R'Us said they had a delivery and there were people queueing outside the store before they opened to buy them.

I'm surprised that they are in such short supply when they've been out for a while.

much like tickets, the nintendo wii was tipped to be a good seller, with limited supply. those who had the funds, snapped up a load and are currently selling them on eBay.

or there are those who have the funds to import in bulk from european countries and sell them on, again, at an extortionate rate.

either way, you're stuffed if you want one this side of xmas for the normal RRP
