This evening I started the ignition on my S7 MY2020 and was prompted that there was an available system software update (version MH2p_ER_AUG35_P2711).

This looks to be an MMI System Software update and looks to be available across all the current models with the dual screen from what I’ve seen online.

I’ve installed it successfully but can’t see anything different. Does anyone have any information about what’s in the update? Some release notes or something???

It’s normally all behind the scenes bug fixes.

Just had car in for an service and it was also updated to P2711 version. Workshop job sheet says:-
Carry out service campaign 91X4The infotainment system privacy setting "Allow data transmission" may change without user intervention. A software update.
So looks like your privacy preferences may be getting altered behind the scenes without you knowing about it....

My S7 went in last week for an issue with the sunroof blind and I also mentioned an issue with a warning I’ve had a couple of times about the exterior lights I’ve had when starting the car at night after rain.

They said that the blind issue was a setting (???) and they installed a software fix for the lights.

I don’t know if anyone else gets this but the customisable MMI layout, you know where you can set the shortcuts down the side and the way you can organise the icons, where the layout reorganises itself all the time?
