    Hello Everyone,

I am from Turkey. I have a Passat BKP 2.0 TDI. The car is 103kW and it has got only a dtc code that is coolant temperature sensor on radiator outlet(18617).

It's performance is poor, fuel consumption is high and warm start is hard (about 4 seconds). Turbocharger, egr valve and throttle flap valve renewed. I could not find any solution in Turkey.

    Can you help me? Thanks.

Can it do output tests? If it can, with the engine running, use address 11 (the engine speed will increase approx 300rpm) and watch the turbo actuator to see if it moves from min to max every 15 seconds or so.

I don't know that can i do this test. But my diagnostic sw can monitor engine rpm, intake pressure and actuator duty. I will get screenshoot of this values's trend. Also i renewed the turbo actuator.

When i monitor the turbo pressure, max pressure value is 1600 mbar. But target value of ECU is 2000mbar.

    Thanks.

To watch the turbo actuator moving is very useful but replacing the actuator is risky without it being set up on a flow rig.

There are 2 coolant temperature sensors on 2.0 passat engines. This code is for the G83 in the coolant flange on the side of the head above the gearbox.

    Have you changed this yet?

Yes, I changed the clutch for performance.

For a warm start, I repaired the starter motor.
