Hey, I have a 2002 Audi a4. My emergency lights keep going on. If I open a door, my boot or even while I am driving..I have copped that the way to stop this but not get rid of it is to have lights on at all times! When I park my car up, they come on I'll have to turn my lights switch on and off to stop it. Any ideas? It was my dad's car, low mileage and I am trying to mind it

Lift the passengers carpet up and feel the bottom of the sound insulation, it is probably dripping wet and the box you will see in there contains the convenience system.

Thanks for your reply. I checked and there's no water around that area. The Box is dry 🤔

Now you need someone to scan the convenience unit for any relevant fault codes. Is it an estate?

You should try some of the bizarre faults I have had to deal with on VW’s at work recently, enough to make a grown man cry... Computerised cars can drive you potty with their software oddities. The new VW ID3 has been delayed for months with huge software issues and is being launched with its software package incomplete for update later... it’s bonkers, we need to take a huge step back on cars and their complexity.

That's crazy! All the modern cars have so much in them now. The older cars were nearly better, less electrical problems
