MMI Green Menu - RMC

Hi everyone.

Apologies in advanced if this has been asked before. Ive searched and searched but getting little info.

I've a 2016 model A6 Sline Ultra with an MMI version of RMC-EU-P16092. I have managed to enable the hidden green menu using VCDS and looking at the options, I see no "Car" Menu or Sub-menu.

There is loads of info regarding MMI 2G/3G etc but little on the RMC version that I could see, or that was useful.

I'm trying to set the side mirrors to fold automatically when locking the car.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

You will not find that setting in the green menu.

Assuming you have option 6XE - Folding Mirrors - on your car, then .....

when the MMI screen pops up (mine displays the Drive Select settings to start with) , select Systems --> Car --> Vehicle Settings --> Central Locking --> Fold Mirrors.

I reset mine this way on my pre-facelift 2014 car with 6XE.

The only option I have under central locking is for the central locking. Maybe I don't have that option...

As per the link I posted it looks like your car is one of those that needs a software update to enable the functionality. With a bit of luck your dealer should (but no guarantee) do it for you for free as it was an error made by Audi with the software with that they used for the 2016 model year.

Now the fun begins, I'm in Ireland and very few Audi dealers around, closest 1 is an hour and a half away.

You can order the software updates off the internet or ebay, or indeed call a dealer and they may post to you to update yourself.
