Hello everyone, i have the above mentioned engine do to have a cambelt and water pump soon which looks is going to be in the same time with a oil change or pretty close as millage goes.

I am prepared with the belt kit, waterp coolant, oil and filter at the moment with over 118k but miles are adding rapidly at over 800 a week ( I am aware interval is 130k miles or 5 years).

How likely for failure is the belt in oil for oil pump as if necessary i would replace it in the same time with the cambelt and i would add to parts a seal cover for crankshaft?

Engine built date is November of 2016 and had a oil change every 6 months since.

Did anyone came across needing to replace the wet belt, snapping or issues across the vw audi seat skoda range? I personally only found a instance on internet on a octavia with neglected oil changes that oil pump needed to be replaced and belt in the process.

Any info in regards greatly appreciated 🙏.

The belt is a lifetime item and I can't see it being chap to get into and change it. Never heard of one snapping but loads of reports of noise.
