Hi, I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to some good instructions (video or pictures) of how to replace my thermostat on my 2010 passat I will also be doing a coolant flush at the same time?

    Thanks

As the process involves disconnecting fuel lines and components it is important to ensure the HPFP (main full pump) retains fuel as it is needed to lubricate the HPFP which would fail if it became dry. It is always worth priming / bleeding the system before the first start following reinstallation of fuel pump components to be on the safe side. This can be done by running the 'Check fuel pump pressurisation' option in Basic Settings (VCDS).
