    Hello All,

Golf Mk4 1.9TDI 2003 - Convenience Control Module (CCM) - Left indicators stay on??

If I disconnect the Convenience Control Module (CCM) the left indicators turn off. But then the central locking, electric windows and interior lights stop working!!

    If I replace the
Convenience Control Module (CCM) with one of the same code 1C0 959 799 B does it need coding to the car? Or can I replace with any
    Convenience Control Module (CCM)?

    Thanks for your help mumutley

You will need the coding value off the old one as the new one may have come from a different specication car. The new unit will need to have the remote control fob(s) programed in, systems such as VCDS, VCP, OBD11 etc can do these tasks.

    Hi Crasher,

I thought this would be case. Coding value off the old unit - using Vagcom - is there a specific way to do this?

The remote fobs, I think it tells me how to do this in the owners book pack?

    Thanks

When you open the convenience system address 46 the coding value is shown labeled... coding. The remote(s) can only be matched using a diagnostic system, address 21 of the top of my head. The Ross Tech wiki has lots of help and VCDS has a lot of pop up help on screen.
