a3 electric steering not working

Hi guys i have a problem with steering. customer came for replacing track rod ends so we replaced and then lift car down and steering assist stopped working. checked all the fuses under bonnet,and offside panel looks good. checked wiring positive negative and plugs they are all fine.. vcds shows two same errors rotation pressure sensor. ABS unit shows code no communication with J700 unit which is steering rack. so I've replaced steering rack and its still the same problem... anyone can help me please?

The light often comes on if the car has been in the air and maybe the battery off so did you try setting it up by driving around the block first and a few stationary lock to locks? Which generation rack is it, 1, 2 or 3 and which year? Whose rack is it, used, genuine, Bosch or Shaftec? Depending on the generation the set up is done in the rack controller or the ABS.

yes I've try'd driving and lock to lock as well no joy... steering rack pic included.

That is an internal number not the number of the rack, 906 middle number means an ECU, the rack would be something like 1K2 (i.e.PQ35 platform) 423 (front axle, steering gear) 055 and then a letter and there are a number of suffixes such as A, B, C, F, AL, AG, AA etc etc.

The middle number is 909, not 906
