I would be cautious about buying any Diesel that is not ULEZ compliant, a lot of cities such as Birmingham are introducing Ultra Low Emissions Zones next year, only this C19 stupidity has seen these delayed by a year including Nottingham thankfully as it will cause me a lot of stress getting customers cars into the workshop.

Hi there I work outside the ULEZ in brum. I know I’ll have to pay to see my parents in London but it’s a lot cheaper to run them my missus petrol so just equals it out

I don’t do finance or loans so it’s what I can afford with a mortgage etc

Anyway purchased the car and it’s a 57 plate 140 bhp. Trouble is I don’t notice a dpf light on when I took it for test drive it drives fine only 89k and is pretty quick

It’s definitely a bmm engine so does that mean dpf removed

The DPF light MUST come on with the ignition and go off when the engine starts, if it does then this is a good start.

According to what I can see the rev counter should have a DPF light almost in the middle of the dial at 9 o'clock right next to the needle disc to the right of the steering warning lamp.

The DPF is just a low grade stainless steel can full of a ceramic honeycomb and has no digital connection, just temp, pressure and oxygen sensors.
