    Hello,

Due to the current 'lockdown' I have too much time to look at my car standing in the yard. I'm always very "OCD" about all sorts of imperfections - which you might prove if you browse my posts on this forum over the last 7 years ;-) Anyway I'm not happy with the passenger door slightly sticking out above the front fender panel. It's really minimal - maybe 1-2 mm, but if you look from the wheel arch, you can clearly see that the door panel is slightly above the fender part. I don't care about it strictly visual-wise, but might it affect somehow aerodynamics and for example cause more noise at high speeds? Or it's too minimal to distract the air flow around the body? I don't really hear anything special from this side, but it's also hard to compare, when driving...

I attach 3 photos, but it's hard to even photograph it.

Is it something worth trying to fix/complain or better leave it 'factory state'?

That inset is spot on between the two mounting screw points so would require force to push it back out so setting a permanent bend in the panel, with all the possible nightmares that could bring! It should have been spotted and rectified during the body in white check, never mind post paint.

So what you are saying is that nothing can be done anymore without some major work on the car and I should just live with it? What about slight door adjustment on the hinges?

It looks like the wing curvature is wrong which you could tease out from behind pre paint but post paint, asking for trouble.
