    Turning it to minimum yesterday I wasn’t happy with the temperature...it wasn’t cold enough. Felt more like 19 or 20 degrees. Is this likely to be low freon levels? Ta

    I`m not sure what effect this feature has, but do you have settings in your MMI for Aircon? There are 3 on mine, try turning to maximum if you have and try. If you have it on high, get a code scan for any related faults.

    The system is self monitoring so if the pressure is low it will generate a code and low pressure is usually the sender itself leaking however failure of the compressor is becoming very common is is quite on these modern constant drive compressor, hard to diagnose so we use the method of no codes, no chill, new compressor. Systems running the new R1234yf refrigerant seem particularly prone to compressor failure.
