    Hallo

    The car mentioned above starts but idles only on two cylinders. (PD injectors but they aren't faulty)

    Basically the engine is overhauled top to bottom and all sensors was replaced.
    Compression is good, oil pressure is good and diesel pressure is good.

    Any idea what the problem could be ???

    I replaced the balancing shaft with the modification from a ALH engine.

    Changed Cam sensor, crank sensor, mass airflow and boost.
    Sent the head in. Pressure tested, new valves, guides and hydraulics.
    Only changed the rings on the pistons. Kept the bearings because that would definitely not have o do with cylinders not working.

    This is the values that i've got if it would help

    This is the values on the engine and I'm sure someone will understand it somewhere.

    Data
    1 886 RPM

    2 5.89 BTDC
    3 9.81 KW
    4 3.43 KW This I know is the cam sensor

    So then on the cam, I retarded the timing

    Date
    1 886 RPM

    2 5.89 BTDC
    3 9.18 KW
    4 1.96 KW

    And again I retarded the cam

    Data
    1 897 RPM

    2 601 BTDC
    3 9.18 KW
    4 0.00 KW couldn't get closer than that

    But here is my actual problem with another problem coming with it.

    Injector values (THE BIG PROBLEM)

    Injector 1 +2.99
    2 +2.99
    3 -3.01
    4 -3.01

    And yes people will say that the injectors are done but they aren't.

    So i've had the chance to do the following.

    I swapped out the injectors and now this is where it's starting to get a bit confusing for some reason.

    I have 8 injectors that i swapped out.

    The values stays the same on each cylinder.
    Even though the injectors change to another cylinder the following stays the same.

    Cylinder 1 = +2.99
    2 = +2.99
    3 = -3.01
    4 = -3.01

    Basically if I take injector 1 (+2.99) and put it on cylinder 4 it changes to (-3.01)
    Taking injector 4 (-3.01) to cylinder 1 it goes to +2.99
    So I literally swapped injectors over and over and that readings stays the same.
    Does this make any sense ??

    Are your compression pressures within allowed tolerance between each cylinder? Looking at your data youd think it was cylinder related ie. compression, valves etc. New rings fitted correct way up, spaced correctly?

    Maybee the ECU needs to be powered off to loose its stored data, ie remove one battery connection for a few minutes.

    Then re-check the injector values with VCDS before re-starting the engine.

    Thanks for the reply

    Everything is as it should be. I can't find the print out of the compression test but it was in tolerance.
    I wouldn't say i think it's cylinder related. I was thinking more electrical but i'm out of ideas what it could be.
    One thing i did noticed is when the coolant temp and diesel temp is plugged in it struggles to start. (does not start at all)

    It"s not the sensors or injectors.
    All new sensors and i have another Audi exactly the same thats why is say the injectors are fine. I swap out parts between cars to see if it makes any difference and every time i use parts on my car there is no problem at all.

    Any ideas would help at this moment

    Thank you
