Mine came on at the weekend, a little orange symbol of an IC engine.
I pulled over sharp-ish and dug the manual out to take a look (p35 ISTR) to read I should drive slowly to a garage to have it inspected, as damage may occur to the CC system.

With <57,000 miles on the clock, on a 4-year old car, I was a tad disappointed.

I recalled that the AdBlue message on the Cockpit Display had been showing 2,000 miles for a few weeks, so decided to drive - slowly - to a fuel station and buy some AdBlue. As I pulled into the forecourt, up came a warning saying AdBlue Warning, car will not start after 600 miles. Perfect timing or what.
20 litres went in but still had the CC warning. Drove home, slowly, phoned Poole Audi en route. They're operating a restricted opening week and doing services, MOTs already booked.
Didn't drive for a couple of days, jumped in car yesterday, started up and no CC warning.
Pretty sure it was the AdBlue.

I think thats DPF Gen mate... but AdBlue at the same time could have been nothing more than coincidence...

You may find going for a blast will help.. ironically.
