Hello, im having trouble with my turbo. Any help would be appreciated.

It all started few months ago, when suddenly on highway, cruise control switched off and check engine light came on. Boost dissapeared and it didn't go past 2200-2300 RPM. Tried restarting the engine when driving, few moments it was all OK then again same issue. Plugged in VCDS and car throw me a code of N75 valve and overboosting. Changed N75 valve to new one, checked all vacuum hoses and then took the turbo off, turbo was ok. It was all clean, flaps were moving nicely and no excessive clearance. Actuator hold vacuum nicely. Put it all together. Went for a spin, it was better but still hesitating. After few hours of driving again limp mode. Tried restarting engine on drive. Boost came back for a moment and then again dissapeared. And when it now dissapeared, pushing the gas pedal a big plumes of black smoke came from exhaust and rattle noise from turbo. Plugged in again VCDS. Threw me an error of Boost pressure regulator and EGR valve. Changed it, also looked up for the intercooler and all intercooler pipes. No leaks on pipes. Cleaned EGR system. Nothing, still the same. Tried blanking the EGR and EGR cooler, cleaned MAF sensor, nothing. When i take vacuum hose off from turbo actuator or from the intake manifold flap actuator, engine works nicely, but when i put it back, strange noise comes from turbo. Any suggestions what should i do next?

Yes sure, will do that in the evening when i have my laptop back. For meanwhile, can somebody tell me is this vacuum lining correct? Lining is exactly what i have on car. I have identical solenoids for EGR cooler and intake manifold actuator. Does it has to be this way originally? Im asking, beacause my father changed some solenoids there and im not sure exactly what he did there and he wont remember also anymore. Also i dont have any vacuum coming out of EGR solenoid to EGR cooler. Can this be the problem?

Sorry, but you have wrong information? Its not 3.0 diesel. Its 2.0 diesel, 103KW, BLB engine code. It has a GARRET turbo, like most of the 1.9 diesels have and vacuum powered actuator not electircal.

The part that was meant for you was thet there is no vacuum system diagram on ELSA.

Ok, no prob. I think i found mistake. Its just a theory, but turbo actuator seems faulty. And hose from turbo to intercooler leaking too. Actuator not functioning normally, cause when i twisted the actuator not, noise went away. I think im gonna change the actuator and hose and lets hope for the best.

Official the actuator is not available as a spare part and if replaced with a Garrett part, needs to be set up on a flow rig.

Changed the actuator, nothing changed. Putted back the old one. Threw me EGR malfunction code, changed EGR , nothing. Just in case changed all the vacuum hoses to new ones and controlled EGR cooler solenoid, intake manifold flap solenoid and N75 solenoid. All working and vacuum exists. Currently no codes but situation still same, no power when engine started and after restarting while driving, heavy black smoke when accelerating. Going crazy here. Im thinking that MAF sensor may be faulty and air ratio is messed up, looked up with vcds and it show 485mg/str while idleing, should be under 300. Tried 1.9 tdi maf, it made it worse. RPM's started jumping and engine almost stalled. Ordered new 2.0 original one, lets hope something will change. If this doesn't help then i dont know what to do next. Maybe change the whole turbo? Although flaps were moving nicely and no play on the shaft.. I read somewhere that catalytic converter can clog and make same symptoms. Is it worth checking it?
