What's this thing made from (looks like reinforced rubber?), how big / where is the hole (on elbow would be more of a challenge perhaps), and what sort of pressure is it carrying? I'm wondering if a cycle repair patch on rubbed clean section with self-amalgamating tape around would have a fighting chance of working for a while. Or heat shrink tube first. Or maybe just the tape. Or a jubilee clip to pinch it closed.

Why not this one from eBay: OEM AUDI A4 B6 POWER STEERING SUCTION HOSE 8E0422887D 3.0 PETROL GENUINE | eBay

Finally, my local VW has this on the website - any use (might post a part): "If you are a Key Worker as defined by the Government and need urgent vehicle maintenance please contact our Customer Service Centre on 0114 450 3744."

    Hi VAG-Abound

looked at that one as its what I'm after, but its in Lithuania and a 3 week delivery time, which isnt ideal. Have got through to the Audi urgent line and waiting a call back this afternoon (hopefully). Need one ASAP so going to try a hose that's delivered Wed or Thursday this week, and bought a couple of lengths also, so fingers crossed

Is TPS closed as well now? Give em a bell. Just say you’re a cash customer you don’t need to be “in the trade”.

TPS trade counters are closed, they will only deliver to trade customers with credit accounts.
