I passed my old Q74L 2007 on to my son who has so far had two years trouble free motoring and loves it.
He has had loads of problems lately with the MMI resetting itself all the time . Finally got my VCDS plugged in and loads of faults appeared mainly concerning low voltage
pointing to battery issue. I'VE TOLD HIM TO GET A NEW ONE. All faults have cleared apart from the one below. It would seem that the 07 module has forgotten its basic settings? didn't think this was possible?
Any of you guys come across this before? How can I rectify it? Help appreciated. It also lost its coding but restored this to 0002002 as I found an old scan with this on.

    Hi B5NUT,

Only thing was digital radio module, but that was fitted about eight years ago and has given no trouble , seems to work fine still.
Up to a couple of months ago whilst connected to VCDS for service reset there were no faults registered.
