    With a fault of:-

00776 - Level Control System Sensor - Left Front
    012 Electical fault in circuit

This error appears on my car. I bought a replacement sensor (on eBay) after I took the old one apart and found the connector was knackered with blue oxide, and one broken pin.
I changed the connector too, and taped the cables together with electrical tape (temporary fix).

However, the error is still there and will not be cleared.
I will try another suspension sensor and see if that fixes it.

Should the suspension sensor ‘lever’ be very easy to move or need a bit of effort to move them? As I have one that is very loose and the one I used was quite stiff to move.

Other than that, any thing else I should look for?
The suspension still goes up and down without issue.

    Thanks!

    Update...
I bought a crimp and some heatshrink things.
When I undid the twisted cables from before, I noticed the cable threads were black. They were coated with something. 2 out of 3 cables were like this. I used some pliers to strip it off and expose the copper.

Once crimped and heat shrunk, I drove home (I go to a little car park near by, as I do not have a drive). The yellow suspension light is still on, but the height and ride settings always worked anyway. But what I did notice, was that when I stopped and turned off, the car ‘settled’ and rose a bit, which it had stopped doing after my first intervention.
Just need to try to clear the error and see if it returns. If it does, then I’ll swap the actual sensor out (as I have another).

On mine, when it was moved was free-ish. Not stiff but not loose either.

Looks like I will need t9 change the sensor, as the error will not clear.
