    Hi ,

My rear inner o/s side LED cluster has stopped working.
I have proved it’s not the cluster at fault as I have tried a brand new cluster.

when I open / close the boot the Rear cluster lights works for a second or so then go out.
so I’m assuming there may be a break in the loom some where.

are the looms prone to failing in certain places. ?

    thabks in advance

    Hi mate,
Check the loom at the point where it flexes with the boot and body section. Try wiggling the loom and see if the lights come on. Seen the break before but on a lot older cars.

    Hi Morski , thanks.

I’m guessing the loom is damaged inside the hinge area - assuming the loom is routed through the hinge.

Found the fault , cable damage on the loom , will now repair .

    Cheers
