Hi all, as per the title. Washer pump not making any noise when engaged. Wipers are still working and come on when you pull the stalk to wash the screen.

Pump removed and checked and working. Replacement pump put in also not working.

I can't see a specific fuse for the washers, but have checked every fuse in the dash drivers door side compartment and the fuse box under the bonnet. All fuses are fine.

    Car is a Golf 2011 MK6 1.6tdi convertible.

Any help appreciated as I'm stumped.

Issue sorted! A cable was loose in the connector.

    Frozen screenwash

Mine did this a couple of years ago irc would not spray screenwash. Left it for a couple of days and it started working again, it has operating reliably since. Presumed the 'ready to use' screenwash had frozen in the lines. In order to avoid a repeat I use 100% concentrate screenwash for winter months.

Thanks for the suggestion. The car is always garaged and I only use concentrated screen wash in the winter months. There was a loose wire in the connector which was why it wasnt working. I've fixed that and now the washers have started working again as they should.

    Good job

I better have a look at my own connector, likely the same issue
