    I now have drive mode permanently set in sport and it feels as though it was always meant to be.
    As if all the other modes have been restricted due to emissions or some other reason.

    Drive System = Dynamic
    Suspension = Comfortable
    Steering = Dynamic

    It’s like a different car so much better - no hesitation when pulling away and eager to shift with just a hint of throttle.

    Interesting to note what affect on mpg this setup has but for now I’ll take it.

    How do you have yours?

    I just have mine in auto to be honest.

    If I’m feeling fruity, I pull the shifter down to get “S”.

    Interesting that with my ‘individual’ setup I don’t have to worry about deactivating stop/start. It doesn’t bother kicking in at all.

    I picked up MY2020 Q7 Black Edition yesterday and looked at the various drive modes. I've setup individual at the moment to keep the suspension low and steering light.

    thought there was supposed to be an 'efficiency' mode which allows the mild hybrid to work, however I can't see it in mine? At present I haven't see the mild hybrid system work so the car coasts when you lift off the accelerator.

    It seems this efficiency mode is deactivated when creating an individual setup - basically when putting the car in sports mode (dynamic)

    All of the other modes will have start/stop and mild hybrid when coasting etc
