    Hello. I drive a A4 B6 1.9 TDI (130hp). So my question is.
Did anyone have these rims on their car? And possibly on a car with this motor, does the car struggle with those rims because of the hp? Currently i got 205/60/15.

I want 225/50/17 for summer tires, and the reason i want 50 height is because of bad roads here where Im from.

    Every advice is much appreciated.

Not sure if it helps you, but 225/45R17 are generally listed by VAG as an alternative on the 1.9 TDI engine for most models on that platform. There are cautions for various models about using those re the suspension, etc. The extra 10mm or so you're adding to the standard R15 / R16 / R17 radius may make those worse, and will be more of a drag on the engine of course.

Would a standard 205/55R16 look so bad? Or if you want to go off spec, but stay close to standard radius / diameter (checking on offset, clearance, etc) one of 225/50R16, 215/45R17, 205/50R17.
