    Hi Guys,
Would anyone know if its possible to retrofit a set of seats from a B7 to a B6.

Issue I have is drive seat is not good and I'm looking at a set of set of B7 electric seats, my B6 are manual.

Another concern would be would I end up with airbag issues or can they be coded to suit? along with seat actually fitting and if there's a loom for electrics.

With any luck someone here has done this or knows if it can be done.

    Regards
    T

All the part codes for rail, seat base, etc look like they change as you go from B6 to B7, and similarly for Golf, Jetta, etc around that time. So I suspect not.

Indeed. I tried to work if you'd be able to use old runners with new padded sections, etc by making a Frenken-seat but looks like not.

Yes I believe they do fit and there are other threads on this forum dealing with installing B7 seats into a B6. Google also provides many sources of information for this swap.
