Well, my car head/roof lining is. It’s hanging down like the underside of matress with no bedsprings.

I’ve not even started to research this yet but I’m hoping that someone could confirm that a few safety (or otherwise) pins might be used to tack the lining to the backing?

Ah. I see. My previous link is a 'trailer' and the explanatory video is 'pay per view'. I'll see if I can find a free version seeings as the reason I'm doing it myself is because I haven't got any money to start with.

This is the first time I've seen the 'pay to view' option from Total Tachnik but the free videos that I've seen so far are very good.

Yep I had this on mine, I looked at a few options but they were all expensive (new headlining from Audi), time consuming (remove headlining from car, take off fabric, glue new fabric on, refit headling) or just looked **** (cut small hole, spray contact adhesive, try and push back up into place).

It isn't actually the entire headlining that sags, just the fabric cover that goes over it. My solution which looked, well, OK, was to some odd things called twist pins. They are designed to keep covers on the armrests and headrests of chairs and are a bit like a plastic headed drawing pin but with a curly "pigs tail" pin instead of a straight one, you just twist them in and it holds the fabric back up against the foam backing. I put a few rows of them across the car and it held up fine for the 18 months I had the car before i sold it.

I did see them being mentioned + advertised (saw 50 for £3 ... I think ... it was in the 'small hours').

Thank you for your reply. It has eased my mind on "will that work?" so I think I'll order some. At the very least, it'll keep the lining off my head until the summer months.
