    Hi Y’all

Long time since been on here. I’ve just recently acquired 2019 Tiguan 190PS 2.0 TSI 4MOTION DSG R-Line and I have a question.

My local VW dealer is unable to tell me how to stop this eco function in normal drive mode. Whenever I lift off the accelerator the revs drop to idle and I’m coasting, a little eco symbol appears at the top of the active info display. It will disappear if I tap the brake and revs pick up but as soon as I touch the accelerator and lift off it comes back. I don't mind it if I put the car in eco mode but I don’t. I hate it.

Sport mode or manual it doesn’t come on at all

Has anyone else experienced this, can it be deactivated in normal drive mode?

Off the top of my head I think you can turn it off disabling efficiency assist in the MMI options.
