    please see attached link I uploaded to YouTube. My car has started making this noise from cold for the last couple of weeks. I was wondering if was the timing chain, high pressure fuel pump or big end bearing knock :/

    Very difficult to say what that is, possibly fuel pump tappet wear as you say because the BLF uses a flat tappet rather than a roller. I would get it inspected owner rather than later as if the tappet wears through, it can ruin the cam and the damaged surface will eat a new tappet in a short time.
