    Default fault codes – 11-11-2007,08:20 PM
    Will any fault code produced by the encine ECU automatically trigger a dash warning light for the engine, or could you find a number of fault codes in the ecu without any obvoius warning. I ask as I am getting an intermitent missing from the engine at start up and then occassionally when pushing the engine hard. Wondered whether the ECU might store any clues? (1999 A8 4.2 Q)

    Only certain emmision related codes will trigger emil light
