I've got a 57 plate one with a strange issue, after a minute or two of going to sleep it keeps waking up and then goes to sleep as before and keeps waking up again. So overnight it drains the battery. Came across this while being sat in the car with the door locked, I could see the hazard light switch light going off after about 10 mins, then there was a whirring sort of a noise and the hazard light switch would come on again. After a bit of googling it turns out the car was waking up.

I've partially resolved the issue by removing the two fuses in the Engine Bay relating to the radio, but I've got no radio now! Has anyone else come across this issue before and know what was causing this and how to fix?

    Thanks in advance.

    It's the original radio.

The fuses I took out were a blue 15 one and a orange 5 one.

Is there anything aftermarket on it? Or any VCDS type coding of options? Or control modules replaced after apparent damage? When did it start running battery down, and anything unusual recall arond the first time it happened?

The colour of the fuses is their blow rating, we need to know their position numbers.
