Wireless CarPlay Issues

Anyone else with a facelift Q7 having wireless CarPlay issues? Seems very hit and miss whether the system connects and starts each time you get in and start the car.
Just wondering if I was an isolated case or if there’s known issues. Can’t find much in the web yet given the car is still pretty new to market.

Heard of issues but my car doesn’t have it.

Does it happen with different phones, are you running latest version of iOS etc?

Might also be worth deleting the pairing and reconnecting?

Yes!
It’s temperamental but mine does connect 99% of the time.
The only problem is it always seems to default to my wife’s iPhone for some reason. I need to find a way to tell it which phone is the boss.

My car has this I think but I can’t suss out what it does!!!

It _may_ not be just wireless related, my MY16 wired connection fails to work sometimes, maybe I would guess 1/5 or less times.
