Vw golf mk5 09g transmission issues

Hi i was wondering if anyone can help,

I recently replaced the valve body and i noticed that when only selecting D i get a like a thumb/ hard shifting noise.

Can anyone recommend what to look out for or any ideas what it maybe.

Valve body? You mean the Mechatronic unit?

Thanks for your reply its an Asin 09g fsi gearbox i replaced the valve body including the solenoid.

Ohh, one of those... I missed the 09G bit in the title. The Aisin Seiki TF-60SN is not a great unit, where did the valve body come from? Have you carried out the basic settings and checked the software is correct for the unit? Post a scan of the cars systems using the # [ code][/code] function in advanced reply.
