    Hi all,

After replacing my car battery a while ago, the esp light has failed to go off. I've tried the trick of turning my wheel from right to left and driving straight with no luck. Plugged in the carista app and came up with the error codes:

    01279 Longitudinal acceleration sensor G251
02085 Incorrect control module installed (ABS)
    01314 Engine control module (ECM)

I believe on some older models this could be located behind the glovebox which would be easy but it isn't located there. Am I right in believing in the MK6 that it's built into the ABS control module and that this needs to be replaced and coded which is a lot more expensive as I don't have any vcds software?

@Andy655 It would be better to start your own new thread, include a full scan and the cars VIN.
