    Afternoon.

    I have an issue with a 2005 Mk5 Golf.
The NSF electric window is not working from the nsf door switch.
It works fine from the os and the key but no joy from the passenger door.....
The switch doesn't light up either so I'm thinking possibly a broken wire or poor connection somewhere....

Can anyone pls advise which wires to start checking or if a wiring diagram may be available?

    Thanks in advance!

You should start with a code read and see if there are any codes in the central convenience unit or in the left front door controller, which doubles as the motor itself. You are unlikely to have a wiring fault from the switch to the motor and obviously the CAN BUS message from the right door but I can't tell if you mean the window works from the left door lock or only from the drivers door lock? If it is working from the left door lock I would guess the E107 door window switch is faulty and using a suitable diagnostic system the actions of the switch can be observed. I get the switch as being part number 7L6 959 855 B REH but check this before ordering, it is £22./30 inc VAT from a VW dealer and is fitted to a huge range of contemporary VW's and is easily available aftermarket by a variety of companies such as Febi under their number 37485 for around £10.
