    Hi all, looking to go view a couple of Audi A5 3 litre v6 tdis. One is a 57 plate one is a 2009 plate. What year did audi fit better chain guide tensioners?

    Another pointer though - if they have the S-Tronic gearbox, check the gearbox oils have been changed and documented as such. More haggle room if they have not been changed, or reason to walk away. Gearbox fluid change - probably about £400?

    I think the earlier 3.0 TDis had the Tiptronic (and IMHO, the better) gearbox fitted before they went to the S-Tronic.
