So the reading on the temp gauge goes above the middle?

Sorry for very late response (wife had out little girl on 28/01) so been busy.

Yeah the Temp gauge goes towards top red, never gets there. Been reading and think a coolant flush is the first port of call.

Which way is easier, the drain plug. Bit have to remove the cover first, or the bottom /top rad hose? If the rad hose way can you get the lower one out without removing anything from the engine bay?

    Regards James

Lol, should read what I post. The radiator cap, not actually sure what's it's called. The thing at the bottom on the rad that you pull out to allow coolant to flow out.

Should be under the car, to the left I think on my car, although I have a panel across the full width of the car that I assume we need removing?

Usually that is a sender, a few had a drain tap. We just pull the bottom hose but I suspect a flush will not help.

Thermostat and water pump? But I’m sure that was suggested at the beginning of this saga.

Check rad fans work and confirm temp sender is reporting correct temp would also be on my list to tick off

Thank for that. I was thinking it maybe temp sensor.

Is their anyway to find out if thermostat is working, other than removing it from the car?

    Regards James
