    Hi All,

Last week my car (Audi A6 C6 Avant 2007 2.0 TDI) Started juddering, hesitation between 1500-2000rpm. Before you all scream MAF issues at me, I have now fitted 2 new ones, a cheapish one from Europarts and a Bosch one. Both produced the same result i.e. nothing! Still that same issue. I have now had to disconnect the MAF as its driving me crazy. The car drives fine without the MAF using basic ECU MAP.

What the hell is going on with it, its had a new EGR in the last month, and the only fault I get is 00257 MAF Implausible signal.

I have also changed the Air and fuel filter.

Please help before I give it a damn good thrashing!!!!

Aftermarket Air Mass Meters are a pain, genuine only. A faulty EGR unit can cause this problem though so what was fitted, cheap and nasty?
