Head on over to the Q7 4M board and look up Andyhud007's posts - he's done a lot of retrofits to Q7s, including the homelink garage door opener. A lot of the systems between A6 and Q7 are similar, and I'm betting he would be able to advise you.

Have the same issue. I guess we guys should ask a specialist. Anyway, MFGF, thanks for your reply. I have a friend who installs carports at Cantilever Carport Sydney | Carport Builders | Carport Australia. I think he may help me to find the solution. Tbh, we have a really unique story of friendship. Once I hired him as a worker to finish building my new house. That was the day out friendship started.
