    Default Drive select – 12-01-2020,07:21 PM
    For the first time since getting my A6 C8 I changed the drive select from auto to personnal (Drive system=Dynamic & Steering=Comfort)
    However, when I started the car I got a warning meesage telling me to switch off the ignition, see photo
    Panicking I did so and changed it back to Auto, restarted the engine but got the same warning
    Perhaps foolishly I took it for a quick spin and now it doesn't grumble anymore after stop/start
    Anyone know what is going on here?

    As mentioned above, it happen when the door is open to remind you to switch off the car.

    Thank you for your replies. It seems likely I may have had the door open at the time but I thought it was to do with me changing the settings
