How to adjust direction/height of headlight beam

The headlights on our A4 aren’t 100% level, one is definitely pointing more skyward than the other and a friend commented when I’d followed him that one light was blinding him.

how do you adjust the height (is that the correct term) of the beam? Lots of guides on YouTube but can’t find anything for the B6 models

EDIT: forgot to say, I know about the aim adjuster on the dashboard, I mean is there any mechanical adjustment for them, independently?

Its best to have the headlamps adjusted using a Beamsetter at a garage, rather than adjusting yourself. One thing, have you checked that the headlamp reflector hasn't popped off the adjuster?
