wow hats off on a great job and you installed the proper version not the crappy one they were selling in UK (for 2k) in 2017!

BTW for the guy who has the wiring but not the tablets, this was a common thing aparently in q1 deliveries in 2017! I asked to have it retro fitted in the excitement of getting a new car... and the service person said after checking I was unlucky as a load of the new deliveries which came through in 2017 had the wiring for some reason but mine wasn't one... They said it was impossible to retrofit ot now but I'm guessing not!

I know this is old but I just got a 2018 Q7 and would definitely want the OEM tablets. I already have the RSE mobile ones and well they are slow, and cannot do anything special that a normal tablet can do, even with android 7 on them. may we get the part number for the OEM version, please..

I have the same tablets from factory, but these are disconnected from mmi and I'm not able to connect them to see all the car integration.
Can you please let me know how did you connected them?
