Audi smartphone interface grayed out

Hi All,

While trying to set Android Auto to work I managed to upgrade the firmware to a version where I see the "Audi smartphone interface" but it is grayed out.

Important to say - my 2015 A6 includes the USB port with the mobile phone icon next to it so as far as I understand I am set - hardware wise.

What should I do from here in order to enable the smartphone interface and to start using Android Auto?

You have to get someone to activate it, so you can use it. Getting mine done this weekend from @DJAlix VagCarCoding.com. Drop him a pm.

Will a dealer do this activation for a reasonable price? Mine is a MY17 car and has the option greyed out too.
