Hi all. I have an A6 1.9 TDI 2003. The temperature gauge is not going above the 1st mark and the fuel consumption has gone really high. I have replaced the temperature sensor but the gauge is still the same and fuel consumption is the same. Has anyone had similar problems please. Thanks for any help. Ian

Hi Amiram. Thank you for that. I took the thermostat out and it all looked good. I did the old trick of heating it up in a pan on the cooker and it opened really early. With new one in it is heating up much better. Around town it is still quite cool 60-65. The gauge only goes up to 80 or 90 on a run. Fuel consumption is creeping back up as well. Thanks again. Ian
