    Afternoon

My front two tyres are 3mm and just had a slow puncture in one.

Are the Continentals the best choice or does anyone else have a recommendation

I’ve just called Kwik Fit and they’ve quoted 580 for Conti, 700 for Bridgestone

I’m near Exeter, unfortunately my local garage can’t do 21inch wheels

    Thanks in Advance

    A

Mine came with the Conti’s and as I’ve replaced them I have switched to Pirelli. They have worn well, are indistinguishable in terms of noise and haven’t let me down in the wet or snow.

I would definitely recommend Michelin Pilot Sport 5 SUV, they are by far the best!

All the tyre brands you say are premium brands. I tend to stick to AO fitment rightly or wrongly as its specifically designed for that particular alloy size for the car.

when I had the 20 inch alloys I had Pirelli scorpion verde Tyres. On the genuine 22 inch upgrades I have the hankook brand.

The problem with the 22 OEM Hankooks is that they look worn out before they're even fitted. Look alright in hand, but mount them and fit them to the car and the edges looks low compared to others. I'm seriously considering the Conti's or Michelins next, although thats +£100 each coner more.
I run Pirelli Winter Scorpions in the winter (on the same rims) and I have to say they're the worse winter tyre I've ever used. Again, I was thinking with my wallet, but still over £1000..
