    Hello,

I am new here and I would really love some help on a matter I am having with my Audi A4.

    My car drives perfectly fine, turbo works as it is supposed to but then this happens;

While Im driving on the highway with 6th gear, sometimes I feel like I suddenly loose power, like the car drives like a diesel car and not a turbo-diesel.
After that realization I pull over, try to gain some speed, I have no turbo, feels like it is dead, car accelerates but way slower and not as supposed to be doing.
If I do shut off the engine and turn it back on (instantly or not doesn't matter) the turbo is back on again and everything works as supposed to.

When this happens this light starts bleeping. (The one referred to as "Engine management (diesel)")
If I turn off the car and on again the light disappears and everything works...

Does anybody here have any clue?
    I'd really appreciate it!

    Thank you in advance!

Sounds like its going into limp mode.
You need to get the car scanned.
I had this problem and it turned out to be a vacuum hose had come loose.
It could be anything from a loose fuel cap to a bad sensor.
I dont think it will be the turbo.

My problem is the car has been scanned and that problem did not show up on the scan.
So the only solution is to start checking out if there's anything loose since the scan didn't show anything?

What was it scanned with? ECU turning turbo off will usually leave a code.

After looking at all the other bits I could see in potential solutions I finally decided replacing the turbo was the thing to do on ours. Has been fine since.

The problem is that my car hasn't shown any error on the turbo matter.
That's why I honestly have no clue why this is happening..

Have absolutly the same issue. It happens when you drive above 2000-2100rpm and the go back under. No errors, nothing. A possible problem is the EGR valve, but tomorrow have an appointment in a Service. I will writhe the results
