Hi excuse the dumb question but had the brake pad wear light come on so thought it would be a simple front pad change. However on checking I can't see any sensor on the front pads? I expected to see it coming off the inside pad but there is nothing an no wiring harness - only the ABS sensor and wiring the other side. I've searched the internet but no joy. Is there anything on the rear?

    The car is a 2009 A3 2.0 TDI 3 Door Hatchback.

    Any advice gratefully received.

Mines on near side I think on inner pad? Unless someone’s shorted it out and the wire bridge has failed but the loom is attached the to the strut and then splits off one for abs and one for pad wear
