    Typically just out of warranty....

the front camera has developed a cloudy look and must be dirt/moisture inside the unit.

I’m hoping I can remove it and clean the seals. If not, a straight replacement of the unit.

Does anybody have a guide for removing the front camera?

    its a 2016 SQ7

    thanks all

Same thing happened to mine. Impossible to dismantle and repair.
Got a new one off fleabay reasonably priced. Fitted and worked fine.
A new unit will throw up a fault code untill adapted and calibrated so a second hand unit is an option
to prevent this. ( although saying that mine threw up a fault a few times then it dissapeared and it's still working fine????)
Changing is straight forward but a bit fiddly.
Remove plastic covers arround the bonnet catch ans remove the bolts holding the catch and move this to one side.
reach down and there are two torx screws holding the camera and shroud in place , remove these and thae you can unplug and replace.
The fiddly bit is getting the screws back in as they are at a funny angle and you seem to be working upside down and blind!
There is only one way it will fit so no chance of getting it back upside down.

    Good luck

Nope. Sorry. Needs dealer tools to do it. You'll get the error if you swap the camera out with a second hand one from ebay. Dealer can do it, I can do it.. But you can't do with odbeleven etc..
